Prepare the writing brief
Name the audience, purpose, channel, tone, length, source of truth, facts that must remain exact, and review owner. Decide whether the work is summarization, restructuring, translation, editing, or new drafting.
Remove unnecessary personal or confidential information before providing source material. Confirm that reuse, translation, and publication comply with permission and attribution requirements.

First extract the facts, required terms, and structure from the source. Then transform the content under the stated constraints. Keep proposed additions separate from source-derived statements.
For long or sensitive work, process bounded sections and maintain a change log. Do not expose hidden source material or ask the model to imitate a living person's distinctive voice.
Verify meaning and evidence
Compare names, dates, numbers, quotations, obligations, and conclusions with the source. Check that simplification has not changed meaning and that every new factual claim has evidence.
Read for the intended audience, keyboard and screen-reader clarity, plain language, inclusive terminology, and required disclosure of AI assistance.
Recover from drift and invention
When the draft changes meaning, return to the exact source passage, restate the preservation rule, and regenerate only the affected section. When an unsupported detail appears, remove it and determine which instruction or missing evidence allowed it.
Keep the accepted source and final text side by side. Escalate legal, policy, safety, or reputational claims to the responsible reviewer.
Protect authors, subjects, and readers
Minimize sensitive material, preserve attribution, respect copyright and confidentiality, and avoid deceptive impersonation. Do not publish generated citations or quotations without checking the originals.
Record the source version, prompt or brief version, reviewer, changes accepted, and limitations so the transformation can be reproduced or corrected.
